Off Ice Training 


The Off-Ice Training program is designed for figure skaters and the classes will include a variety of total body conditioning that involves both strength and cardio exercises.  The aim will be to target all major muscle groups in a variety of ways using a mix of free weights, resistance bands and med balls.  The class also includes resistance training with plyometric moves to improve strength and power.  Plyometric or “jump training” can help improve athletic performance, endurance and will help to improve jumps on the ice.  The off-ice training program also focuses on improving flexibility and coordination.
